Actually, that shot was taken around the week of the July lows on the NAZ, and Maria brought out the dog to somehow give the market a lift. Too stupid and funny to be real, but there is the photo. A few days later she made here comments to Joe Kernan, when the NAZ was trading around 1180, that since the market was going down anyway, why don't we all just short it and make some money. From that moment forward, we rallied up. Miss Capitulation. I sent the photo to her email at CNBC, but heard nothing back, but I suspect it has made the rounds there too, as she is and always will be the butt of a dog's joke.
I need room to trade. I need room to breathe, move around during trading. I am just a bit claustrophobic. I can't imagine having to trade in a restrictive office environment......
