A day or two ago, someone posted a very telling chart which plotted the unemployment rate of 73-74 vs. the S&P 500 of that time period. It showed very conclusively how the unemployment rate lagged the turn in the stock market by many months, i.e. the market turned up solidly while the unemployment rate still rose for about 6 more months. I cannot find that thread and post now. Does anyone have that chart they could post? Thanks.
