I remember when google wasn't in the spotlight, it wasn't a "Dang, I shouldve bought some" sort of regret, but I remember when I saw google (It wasn't THE trend a few years back) I thought it was going to Belly-flop into a bottomless pit anytime soon by now (back in 04) but I turned up to be wrong, and wasted one heck of a chance to get filthy rich (no, not me, My uncle and I take care of my grandfather's shares, he's a "Blow-up when Im stressed" type of person, and is always busy with his office paperwork, so we hand-pick the best shares for him not too shabby of a summer job for a 15 year old, even thought I just do it for the experience, no money involved though  ) but that was one heck of a bad decision, let me tell you that. But If im not mistaken, I dont remember any analysts or economists giving any "Pridictions" at the time, but I might be wrong.
Can you quote the part of the latest 10Q you are referring to? I can't seem to come up with those numbers...
http://investor.google.com/releases/2007Q2.html and http://investor.google.com/releases/2007Q3.html look for "Shares used in per share calculation" Q3 shares: 316,576,000 Q2 shares: 315,469,000
Either way, I don't see how you are equating market cap and earnings. Yes, adding more shares does 'dilute' the value of each share, and will drive down EPS -- but I don't see any connection between market cap value added based on the new shares and the EPS reported. EPS included the new shares -- it is already in its diluted form. Maybe you can enlighten me.
LOL You guys crack me up ! If you all want to be, wanna bee Warren Buffets then WHY are any of you on a "TRADING" forum.? This is setting up again on the 5m for another "low risk/ high reward" entry. Stay tuned !
As we transition to a type 1 civilization google will grow increasingly dominant, slowly anaexing marketshare away from almost every other competing technology/internet/and media company. Google's goal of controling the exchange and transfer of all information on planet earth will eventually be fulfilled by the time the transition happens. Google is the most revolutionary company in existance. No other comapny will play a greater pivitol role in the direction of humanity in the next 100 years than google. This isn't an investment in just a company, but an investment in your ultimate fate.
I did take a short on this but didn't have time to post it real time, so I'm not even going to bother calling the trade "officially" BUT that being said .... Say good night boys and girls this party is over ... at least for awhile. $675 next stop
