whoa, what caused this spike right now in the JPY future (6J) at 9:00 CT?? I can't see any major news...
well equity markets gave back their gains, tho I am not sure the correlation with usdjpy makes sense now the the carry is nil. Cable and Euro are down as well so maybe its a risk aversion move. Maybe someone thought he was demo trading and decided to go balls to the wall or fat fingered a few extra zeros on his order?
I trade 6E and 6J parallely and was quite surprised as JPY moved towards north like a rocket and EUR kept calm as everyday... In JPY I stayed on the sidelines as I thought it would be a fake rally... so I missed the move...
