  1. you also have a problem with the concept of proof.

  2. Im still waiting on the big bang proof...not evidence that 'leads us to believe'...because you are criticizing religion for the same thing...as far as other religions: I believe there is one god...I believe he is the dame god as the Jews, the Hindu's, the Christians and the Islamic.....the prophets may differ, the culture and traditions differ....but fundamentally they are all the same....

Im not asking you to accept my religion....or my beliefs...I just find it odd that I provided proof that god existed through the experiences and accounts of men who have walked this earth....you choose not to accept them, that is your choice, but please do not then give a free ride to science ...they have no firsthand account of creation either, yet they blindly accept a lot of these silly theories.....and just because something is written in a science book.....that doesn't mean its true either....especially in light of the fact that today we celebrate Columbus day....it was only 600 years ago they wrote in science books that the world was flat...theres been a lot more science screw ups since....like the the pyramid of health:D

  3. "Then your DELL computer example is not valid for the beginning of our universe, since neither one of us can go and "watch it being manufactured". So let's throw it out as non-pertinent."

    HUH??!?!?

This is EXACTLY why it's pertinent!

    My DELL example is perfect.
It's an example of how you can prove something is created.

The fact that you are incapable of collecting evidence about the universe being created by a god is further evidence that you have no case.

You cant simply make up an excuse that since you cant collect the evidence, this somehow magically dismisses my VALID example of creation.

Where is the logic in that?

If two scientists are trying to provide evidence for their 2 separate, but competing, hypotheses, and one scientist is incapable of collecting evidence for his hypothesis, this GIVES HIM NO RIGHT to simply dismiss the other scientists hypothesis which he DID collect evidence for.

"Where is the science that you are talking about that would so overwhelmingly make one believe that the Deist is a silly myth-believer? "

  4. You are offering nothing but insults.......when all i asked for is proof....if you have none, admit it but don't start insulting your way around the issue.....provide definitive proof of the big bang or admit there is none ...but to start insulting me and shoeshine to avoid the question is amateurish.

  5. ok whatever. believe your unproven nonsense as you did your dietary position. the proof you seek is there but the pathetic fact is you cant evaluate it or understand it so please stop asking for it. you wanna believe in ghosts and goblins that your [unfortunate] choice.

  7. ".I believe he is the dame god as the Jews, the Hindu's, the Christians and the Islamic.....the prophets may differ, the culture and traditions differ....but fundamentally they are all the same...."

I knew were going to say this, but you cant prove this either, and other religious leaders would completely disagree with you too.

"Im not asking you to accept my religion....or my beliefs...I just find it odd that I provided proof that god existed through the experiences and accounts of men who have walked this earth....you choose not to accept them, that is your choice, but please do not then give a free ride to science"

I didn't CHOOSE not to accept them, I rejected them as fables because there is no other supporting evidence that would lead me to believe otherwise.

" ...they have no firsthand account of creation either, yet they blindly accept a lot of these silly theories....."

    Unsupported.

They don't need a first hand account. There theories are TESTABLE. And first hand accounts are not enough.

What have they blindly accepted? Provide a single proof, not a mere claim.

"and just because something is written in a science book.....that doesn't mean its true either...."

That is correct. Its likely to be true BECAUSE OF THE VAST AMOUNT OF DATA AND RESEARCH backing it up. Not the mere writing of it in a science book.

"especially in light of the fact that today we celebrate Columbus day....it was only 600 years ago they wrote in science books that the world was flat...theres been a lot more science screw ups since....like the the pyramid of health:D :"

Yes... and this ignores the incredible progress science has made and its ability to CORRECT itself.

Once again... this is why things are labeled correctly as THEORIES and not facts.

  8. This is the fallacy of the excluded middle.

The fact is, there is a lot of evidence for the big bang, and no definitive proof.
Thats why its properly called a THEORY.

It is NOT simply one or the other.

  9. I gotta go.

    Too much time wasted here.

I cannot teach a class on evolution and critical thinking here.

I suggest the theists go take some classes instead.

To date I have not seen a single argument for creationism stand on its own.

To date I have not seen a single shred of evidence for any god which qualifies as real evidence.

Same old stuff.... regurgitated, over and over again. No need to swat down the same old arguments a million times if they will simply be reposted with slightly different wording.
