This mount requires bolting the rig to your desk. Hope you don't mind drilling holes on your mahogany desk.
the ergotech hex stand will hold your (6) 21.5" screens. it is currently holding my (6) 22" worth every penny!!
monoprice has some cheap dual vertical stands... http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10828&cs_id=1082808&p_id=5561&seq=1&format=2 they are a bit of work to set up...also goto home depot and get some rubber mounts for the base...the base is a weird shape different from the ergotron it is more of a big V so keep that in mind i have 3 side by side for 6 monitors...i have a hodge podge of lcds so getting 3 verticals works better for my setup if i had 6 all one size then i would maybe choose a diff setup....been using them for a few months now and have been happy for the price
I used 6 single arm neoflex ergotrons on a dual level desk from Ikea to get 6 24 inch monitors up. My experience is it is not worth screwing around with the cheapo discount mounting solutions. I tried goin cheap and ended up cursing and sending them back . Then paid the 80$ a pop for the ergotron ones. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60111123
Guys been finding cheaper stands online and I picked up two of these vertical stands from easymountlcd... http://www.amazon.com/Vertical-Free...screen-Displays/dp/B003XZVTJ0/ref=pd_sbs_op_2 Go to their website cause they were cheaper then what they charge on amazon... or another place has them called tyke supply on amazon... they look the same..... Why pay 775 for a six mount stand when you can get three duel mounts for about 180.00. And if you need to move them around you dont need to call four friends over or waste time taking them apart... And like I said before, good luck trying to move a quad stand or over... My quad cost like 400 bucks years ago from ergotech (I think) ergo something...lol I really like my new duel stands and they are just as good if not better the the ergo stuff for a LOT less... Nick
