Thanks, yeah, that's Loki. 4yo. lol I was approaching a shooting team for a night vision class (as instructor) to do an equipment-check and the guys were LMAOing as I had him under my arm.
I pointed that report because it is an opinion from foreigners so you can´t blame the locals for voting their own place. I linked the article from the newspaper because is something quick to read and appropriate for these mouthful arguments. The actual list is even better, when they wrote the article, Spain was on the 4th place and now apparently is on the 3rd place. That is an argument to sport against cocky Americans that say that we are insignificant, I believe.
Odds are they'll eat it, the bigger question is will they get sick from it. Wanna hear something funny.... the ONLY time my dog ever had extreme diarrhea... was when I let her finish off two pieces of a Little Caesars pizza. I kid you not. Just to seal the deal it would seem... I just threw in pizza.
Hey for real though, depending on where one lives, you do have to watch coyotes. Those f'rs will lure a dog in via the call of a wounded rabbit or something, and then attack it in a pack. It's amazing how they can alter their vocals. They can bark just like a dog too. It's a lower pitch, which is surprising considering how they can do a rabbit at a much higher freq.
Vocalizations A yelping coyote The coyote has been described as "the most vocal of all [wild] North American mammals".[105][106] Its loudness and range of vocalizations was the cause for its binomial name Canis latrans, meaning "barking dog". At least 11 different vocalizations are known in adult coyotes. These sounds are divided into three categories: agonistic and alarm, greeting, and contact. Vocalizations of the first category include woofs, growls, huffs, barks, bark howls, yelps, and high-frequency whines. Woofs are used as low-intensity threats or alarms and are usually heard near den sites, prompting the pups to immediately retreat into their burrows. Growls are used as threats at short distances but have also been heard among pups playing and copulating males. Huffs are high-intensity threat vocalizations produced by rapid expiration of air. Barks can be classed as both long-distance threat vocalizations and alarm calls. Bark howls may serve similar functions. Yelps are emitted as a sign of submission, while high-frequency whines are produced by dominant animals acknowledging the submission of subordinates. Greeting vocalizations include low-frequency whines, 'wow-oo-wows', and group yip howls. Low-frequency whines are emitted by submissive animals and are usually accompanied by tail wagging and muzzle nibbling. The sound known as 'wow-oo-wow' has been described as a "greeting song". The group yip howl is emitted when two or more pack members reunite and may be the final act of a complex greeting ceremony. Contact calls include lone howls and group howls, as well as the previously mentioned group yip howls. The lone howl is the most iconic sound of the coyote and may serve the purpose of announcing the presence of a lone individual separated from its pack. Group howls are used as both substitute group yip howls and as responses to either lone howls, group howls, or group yip howls.[24] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coyote#Vocalizations
And don't forget about birds of prey... It sounds like something out of a Bugs Bunny cartoon, but apparently it actually happens that birds like eagles and hawks can swoop down and grab a small dog. Probably wouldn't try to take a standard poodle, though LOL
The thing is McDonalds and Pizza Hut shouldn't be used to represent American food in the first place. America, just like any place in the world is a place with rich culture, tradition and history and its food represents all that. If you want to know what's American food, this is American food: https://www.eatthis.com/best-american-foods-from-all-50-states/ It's different from food from the rest of the world and maybe is heavily influenced by food from the rest of the world because America itself is made up of people who came from all around the world. It's natural that they bring their food from back home with them when they came to America. And also what constitutes a region's food depends on how much time you choose to spend eating as well. America chose to spend only 15 minutes eating lunch wolfing down whatever can fill the stomach of course it's going to end up having restaurants like McDonald's and Burger King fulfilling that need while countries like France and even China choose to give their employees a two-hour break during lunch, of course you are going to have gourmet cuisine because people will have more time to prepare their food. Nice food takes time to prepare and takes time to enjoy as well. Even for McDonald's and Burger King, you can even elevate their food to gourmet. I have eaten $100 burgers that contain the same ingredients as the burgers from McDonald's but of course elevated so it just shows it's possible. And even with McDonald's, you can still eat healthily if you want and not the junk food that they show in 'Supersize Me". I eat McDonald's about every two weeks and trust me I didn't gain one pound.
