KS96, I wanted to do some testing on ESTX50 and SMI. Do you know of any brokers that offer any type of demo software that have a charting package and live data feed for them? Up until now, I have used Oanda and IBFX, I think ill be openning an account very shortly with IB. But until then, any you know of? thanks, - secXces
I don't think that anyone gives Eurex data for free. I believe it's Eurex's policy to charge all end users.
I read that somewere a while back. Figured there might be some broker out there offering a feed. Im too used to the operations of forex brokerages. Oh well, Ill just have to wait then. Thanks Anyway Though, - secXces
Try www.ninjatrader.com You need an IB account to get the data, but ninja have a sim version that is free with both forex and eurex futures.
I've been away most of the morning. Just back to see that my long Bund is deep in the red (I left a disaster-stop which is not hit yet). However, the correction may end at current levels (support @ 117.62 on the continuous contract.) If not, I will take the loss soon. Glad to see that my ESTX50 & SMI shorts turned profitable.
