  2. Goliath

    Goliath

I won't even comment on the crap PP is on about......

But, I just have to reiterate..... He is one of the most annoying idiots I have come across in ET. He is a bullshitter a liar and a dreamer.

  4. Indeed. And it is downright scholarly of you, endeavoring to engage in an academic discourse supporting the viability (nay, the inevitability!) of turning 5k into 5 Billion over the course of 25 sequential and perfectly orchestrated trades. I can only surmise that you graduated with honors and distinction from the Laughing Academy. By all means, do carry on, and don't let the encroaching butterfly nets distract you.

  5. Why would you just stop at 5.5 billion, why not a billion times more? :D

What are the limiting factors in reality?

You remember this oldie but crappy?

    Quote from ProfitProphet:

Most ETers take themselves and the business of trading a little too seriously. This thread is an attempt to inject some levity to the ramblings and sniping of the majority of threads.

Its been my experience that I can usually solve one problem by focusing on another, related one. "Pereferal reasoning" I call it.

The plus side of an underground business is unlimited tax free profits. The negative is literally brutal competition from inside and out and the unlimited resources of Uncle Sam coming after you.

One needs to see the big picture at all times, as per trading. I use the analogy of Russian Matryoshka dolls. How one cycle fits within another.

It does not matter if one can see the parallel of crime to trading. I do and use it to my advantage.

But what I am most interested in, is if, one chose to operate an undeground business, would you choose to capitalize on human weaknesses (gambling addicts, lustful husbands) and/or extreme depravity (child prostitution, snuff films)

Are you afraid to explore the dark side of your own psyche?
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would focus on weak minded traders that were looking for a short-cut to fast cash.

Guys like you perhaps. Guys and gals that want to be somebody, but lack the courage and the guts to reinvent themselves and run through the gauntlet despite the pain and discomfort.

Individuals that lack the focus of spending hours upon hours of self-market education reading the tape, peering at thousands of charts, formulating trading plans and perfecting a system that demands discipline to extract money on a consistant basis.

I would exploit the greed of the pumper that preys on the ignorance of the lazy investor then mocks them for being bag holders.

You see these posers really think alot of themselves and are prime candidates to become ensnared in their own traps.

    It's poetic justice...I believe it's your future.

and this is the end result of dishonesty:

    This is you now (.)

This is you in prison (o)

  8. DTV +19% as of August 2006.

DTV fundamentals are mixed. Not strong but not weak. If value appreciated, it would be due to the preceived value of the company, not its current balance sheet.

November and December are typically very bullish for stocks and the market as a whole. The seasonal probabilities are on my side even if the balance sheet isn't. If DTV appreciated further, I expect another 10 to 20% from its current level by year's end.

How many out in ET land secretly purchased shares for themselves while mocking me? Even if 100% appreciation is not attained, 20 or even 5% is still good. What's the only reason to buy a stock? Because it is moving up.

  10. First of all its zero-sum game, which means in order for you to profit those 5+ billion $, some one has t lose that much. Of coarse it does not have to be one person. Second of all what about taxes?????? Third, what if your account will be wiped out like it happend to REFCO customers. Listen if you can make 5.5 billion $ from $5,000, you are better than George Soros, Warren Buffet, and everyone in the world who trades or investes for that matter.

    Keep those hopes up.
Just double your investment, if you do we will get back to this conversation.
