I was thinking "buy a gun". That way you can consider another profession if you decide not to use the burial plot right away - Bank Robbery.

Best case - Notoriety and wealth.

Worst case - Free room and board and all the sex you can handle.

  3. Forget it. Do something else.

Any prop firm that hires you...
Just wants to Skin Another Mook.

  4. Lol, that's so true, they hire you and then fire you a few months later. Noobies make the best traders because they see what is, not what should be. Once you start to gain a little bit of knowledge about the market, you start having preconceived ideas and become a liability to the prop firm...

  6. Hire on to sell medicare insurance (some kinds have 12 months selling programs. Usually salary plus commissions (in 120K/yr range.)

Do your options as you wish and squeeze in appointments as you desire.

Very little training required and it is easy to learn. All leads are given to you in a given locale. You spiel and fill in forms (or send client to phone where a telemarketer finishes your sale.)

The most fascinating opportunity is homes for aging. You just swoop in and sign them all up.

50 is a very good age since you know the medicare age groups characteristics. A lot of older people are well educated and easy to deal with.

    No long hours.

  7. Quit trading now and get a real job.

You will never get your money back. Guaranteed. You messed up.

  8. I started with 28k. At the time, the best job I could get paid $8/hr. And that's about what I made as a trader. Plus, I took the $8/hr job as a night cashier at a C store, which really came in handy during drawdowns.

  9. Thanks for your advise. I hope it will help some people in my age who read this thread. However, I don't think I can take any sale job. It may take very little training for people with sale experience or the kind personality. But I have never been selling. I just have had a major change in my career in the middle age, and certainly don't want to take any more effort to explore a career that doesn't seem suitable for my personality.
I will try to look for either a trader job, which I have four years experience trading at home, in a investment firm or hedge fund, or a live-in housekeeper, which I have 20 years experience by raising my own family. (I cook and clean house very well) However, neither are easy to find. For the former I may be too old to start with. For the latter, I may be over educated. Oh, God help me!!!!
