Boy did it ever go off the rails. I see the argument has mushroomed this morning. Here is a little video that talks about some of the costs of drug abuse. Of course, PT will latch on to the legal costs but it is the other costs that are the problem with making hard drugs legal. And, as you state, once addicted abuse/rehab is a revolving door for most addicts. http://money.cnn.com/video/news/2012/02/24/n_cost_of_addiction.cnnmoney/ <object width="384" height="356" classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" id="ep"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="movie" value="http://i.cdn.turner.com/money/.element/apps/cvp/4.0/swf/cnn_money_384x216_embed.swf?context=embed&videoId=/video/news/2012/02/24/n_cost_of_addiction.cnnmoney" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><embed src="http://i.cdn.turner.com/money/.element/apps/cvp/4.0/swf/cnn_money_384x216_embed.swf?context=embed&videoId=/video/news/2012/02/24/n_cost_of_addiction.cnnmoney" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" bgcolor="#000000" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="384" wmode="transparent" height="356"></embed></object>
Huh? it's actually a shot, but I do need to walk more, or run. Which I hate. I don't. Oh jeez, get over yourself. 1) you don't really feel bad and 2) even IF you did there is no reason to.
Just be yourself with a group of strangers for a few minutes, and they'll give you all the incentive you need to run.
Maybe we should all chip in and get RCG a car. I feel bad that he has to walk everywhere - especially in those cold, windy IL winters.
I think he's saving his pennies for a Cirrus. Of course he can't fly it so not sure what he plans on doing with it.
Some great posts here. This thread has been established to help prevent yet more of our black males ending up in a cage. It is so tragic that so many of our black men are currently caged, when instead they could be gainfully employed in some way or the other in the service and manufacturing sectors. I believe that large corporations (MacDonalds, Taco Bell, to name but a few) should use affirmative action to get more black men off the streets and into productive work, rather than a life of crime. The facts speak for themselves: 1 in 20 of young black males are in a cage. This is unacceptable.
Wow. The facts on black incarceration are just that... FACTS. 5%, buddy... 5%. Or, in simple terms just for you: 1 in 20 black males in the USA are caged. Why are you so emotional? Can you not accept facts? Are you not concerned about the wellbeing of our fellow black male citizens?
