I can't either... but i see heating oil is on a tear today, up 5c where rb is only up .5c. no idea why it's going up so much but i think heating oil is dragging up oil.
I just go stopped out at 48.70 and took another $505 loss for the day. This sucks, now I am -$1059 in the hole for the week.
i'm riding this thing down one way or another!! i'm trying a 2 lot short at 48.60. stop at 48.80. come on!!
sorry to hear that leemeeplay mate. I want 50.89 for teh normal daily contract (teh chart i normally use that i drew all those lines on a few months ago). Its 80ticks higher on that than the april one which is only 1 i can trade though, and so i want roughly $50.09 april contract before i sell. Ive put screenshot to show what i think could be a hed n shoulders here though where you just sold mate, but this is why i hate trading now and cant wait to be able to quit it..., because an upmove this big should have crashed 100 t 150ticks by now, should have fallen n risen multiple times throughout the day! Not just risen so sooo much so steeply, and then just pause for 10mins and not fall back. Since only a gambler would be buying at teh top of spikes like that, but everytime you sell them like you should market now just pauses instead of crahsing into profit for you.
out at 48.19, and back in short at 48.32. cnbc just said a build-up in crude oil is expected tomorrow. seriously, what is going on.
grr i hate this!! i so soo much wana sell ehre cos i dont wana miss the fall! but it looks too much like a trap and too bouncy upwards
@span thx dude. it is very choppy now, i'm thinking i got in a bit too early. oh well, i'm holding on unless i see another huge down spike. why don't you consider getting in using a stop loss? i know how you feel about not using stops though, i've been doing it for over a year now and i've managed to keep my capital without stops. of course everytime i happen to build up a decent amount of capital, an adverse move knocks me right back down. i've just converted to using stops for 1 week+ now, and it's MUCH more relaxing... edit: RB and HO are starting what looks to be the beginning of a downtrend today, though more time is required to confirm that. the dollar is also drifting higher...
