Spanish, I wasnt referring to index trading. I was referring to individual stocks. Seems like you are always looking to have a position on oil which in my opinion is not particularly wise.

Afraid I dont trade oil at the moment. Just looking at ABN AMRO, the price is still around $105? Time to go long ?

  8. Nah, unfortuneately my sb firm ended the oct contract back on friday, so it was only the november i could trade today... :(

Sounds bad, but it was just actually free money, since the nov contract merely changed direction 5-6 seconds after the october 1 did.... :D :p

So i just sat there with oct chart on 1 side, nov on other, execution screen in the middle, and i knew exactly when to cash in all my sells off the rally peaks, as i had a good 5 t 6seconds warning!! :D :D

I only made £899 from today though, since i played it extremely safe, and used a 1100+ ticks s/l behnind each trade, and so kept it to just £2 per tick.

  9. Aloha how was everyone's trading day today?? :)

I missed out on the morning 100 ticks that i had been waiting for (too risky to hold overnight), because i overselpt cos was up till 4am.

But i still managed to get up at about 8.50am and down to my laptop... :)

The 1st 3 trades were beautiful sells, and i cahsed in £151 in just over 1 hour.

I didn't see anything decent after that during the 11 t 12.30 quiet time, and so id gone out for breakfast and left the mid day suff for the really tight scalpers.

I sorta messed up the afternoon abit, cos i was waiting for that fed speech, and had thought it would have big impact on dollar / oil,
however when the banking stuff started (i watched it for over 1hour) and i saw oil playing around the 109 level, and then drop 40ticks in a few secs volatility, like a fool i jumped on the bandwagon thinking it was a quick $1 t $2s trend bandwagon...,
And as a result got my sell filled at 108.37!! :(

So i then had to sit an watch for 1hour while it played around above my very bottom support level for that area, going up 75ticks at most, that could have been cashed in for me if id not been so foolish,
but in the end i took £74 profit after £24 comission.

    :)

My final trade i made the same mistake again, got in the sell at a low support, and in the end the market is still too risky and trend to undecided to go longterm, so i just wound it down to close out for the day and go my friends house.
    :)

Not bad though, made £219 profit today (160ticks).

And now i am focusing more on being a market predator...
SO instead of just getting into trades, floating around hoping and waiting for the trend to fall in my favour, i make less trades, waiting for extremely certain profitable trades, and hit with £2 per tick instead though. :D :p
