In response to the questions on t2w to me; I didnt take a loss on the aud/usd yesterday... lol I took a profit of 132pips in about 10mins with to short scalps just before interest rate cut. I then didnt do a 3rd short though as was busier on other stuff, and that was teh right decision as it rose. I missed out on the 600pips up, cos after friday night when my losses on aud vs profits were making it barely any money, so i gave up going long, some more bad luck again. And then i missed the £2,000 yesterday by not being greedy and leaving trades to run to target level, an dlost over £900 again today for same reason. I am u £529 so far today though, and the trade im now hodling long on oil has an £800 target for when it gets hit. On on the Hbos i had dropped the stoploss down to 39, cos i knew it wasnt gna go bankrupt and close down, and having fallen from 2000+ to nearly 20 in few months, needed some bounce atleast. And that again proved to be the right decison to just hold it out, as its now rebounding.
K time for the daily kebab now as i havent eaten anything all day yet.. :/ the bath didnt work, cashed in 2 of teh trades at 65.80 area, but then got them back in just below as didnt want to miss rally... lol So made a few quid profit in the enetry level after sread i guess.., but the oil decided to have anotehr little $1 drop as i was n the bath. Its rising back up now though, as well it doesn't really have much else to do.. lol And nothing is gna actually happen till after 7.45 anyways though, since everyone now just takes the day off and only comes into work at 7.45 to throw huge piles of money at the dow in 1 of the 2directions, and so oil gna just be following that. So got time to even watch simpsons and hollyoaks today!
hi boys. Since that £330 odd before breakfast I have only made a few trades as ive been busy with online shopping. Was meant to go to town but it was tipping it down outside. Made a quick 60 pips on an oil long (attached) for another £350 and that is basically it for today. Off for some dinner now but hopefully get time to squeeze in another trade and make my thousand pounds that i like to make in a day if i can.
Took another 40 pips on oil and 36 pips on a gbp/usd long. Up £910 now. Probably wont hit my target of £1000 for the day as i am going out at half 8 and need to get ready first. Probably catch up tommorow!
Well done mate.. How much you trading at per tick now though?? lol Ive fleeced the market for £529 so far today cos i still keep being too cautious and taking profits way too early. But am holding my £4s long on oil over night tonight because of the dow rocking in last few mins, cos japan gna cut interest rate overnight, cos wwe managed to hold strongly above the 64.86 t 65 barrier, even when dow had crashed down to barley 9000 oil still held stringly, and so i see rally coming overnight to 67.60 t 92 hopefully, mayve even that 68.14 level if lucky, and if the dollar keeps on weaking overnight! Dwo closed up nearly 200points, oil closed down nearly $5s (but only 30cents below my average entry), so that is great as now all we need is a slight pullabck from this extreme low back to mid market level and ive taken over £1,000!! How you ended porph?? Caught that dow long at the end?? I had put a buy order on dow from 8985, but didnt get hit.
And this is a 3rd up day for nasdaq, so means more optimism!! Anyone else holding any trades open till the morning now?? My previous best week was £3,182, and so im thinking if i can get that $2s more rise in oil from here il be braching that!
Hi spanish89. Do you have a family? I wish I was as brave as you. I don't have a family btw. I assume you trade mini crude. I noticed over the last month and a half crude has done a late morning drop usually 2 to 3 dollars. Anyway, your story gives a lot of us hope.
£311 For breakfast again today on a DOW short bit annoyed because i had a limit order in to short oil - it came within 8 pips and the dropped off not to worry
