Trading the ES and watch the premium levels. Around that time alot of program sell triggers went off.
That was no fat finger, that was someone trying to keep this thing from melting before the year is out. Someone is going to be very wrong next week.
No volume, no size between bid/asks that allow a small amount of volume from a typical 3:20PM "program" trade to push the market around big time. No big deal.
Rubbish, today saw some of the biggest bids on the SPY in a long time. Overall volume may have been low but when it was needed it was significant.
