45 degree angle breakouts are strong

  1. So it officially starts at 6:00am. My trading desk era was 1998-2004. By 2005, I was trading from home, and had farmed out assets to hedge funds.

    "Cuban Ralph", the Pre-Market Master, would operate from 8:00am-9:30am, often done by 9:00am, and out of the office. He was very kind, and generous. I spent a year observing him (2003-2004):

    "Bro, it's going up" or "Bro, it's gonna tank". I could only see a vacuum of prices in L2, but he saw so much more. He really had a gift.

    So it's 6am now?

    Interesting about the pre-market trader. I personally follow starting 6am ... I think official start is earlier. And it may be broker dependent re when you can trade eg fdly starts 7am

    YES, even though my ETfs may not go up\down that much;
    but I pay more attention to moving averages than slope angle.
    I'm looking @TQQQ, now. On a one year chart, good average up slope. BUT the same one years data; on a 10 year chart /the last same one year chart looks almost straight up.
    But the numbers are the exact same + that'$ one reason i may glance @ a 10 year chart but not all the time /LOL:D:D

    Yeah I remember when TQQQ was back in the 50s, great run.

    Today TZA best inverse chart. I crushed UVXY into today's close. The eod UVXY/VXX spike has been a rare repeatable play, makes me miss TVIX :D
