  1. This is the ONLY path to POSSIBLY invigorate the US economy. How far away from this is Obama's policy?

Also, we must plug the southern border so that Americans can have the jobs illegals are now taking... even if it means higher food prices... we must do it.

Didn't you get the memo? Raising taxes causes the economy to grow. Why, if they raise them high enough we will get back the surplus GWB squandered after 9/11 and the tech bubble burst. :D

What I find hilarious is that despite Obama's awesomeness, he is completely powerless to undo anything GWB did. Hell, Obama can't even get Gitmo closed.

  4. He shouldn't close Gitmo... it was a dumbass idea from the start.

  5. There you have it. This is all that worries me about the future of this country. The politics have been turned to a joke whereby both parties just point fingers and chase after populist agendas, when the truth (at least to me) is that both have done their part in taking the country down this path. Though at the time it was all in good intention, however, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

  6. So you're saying that Obama, along with every liberal, is wrong in blaming Bush for all our problems?

  9. The economy will never be re-invigorated until the bad debt is flushed... we need massive deleveraging.

Yes, we are successfully staving off a necessary depression but guess what?

We will instead experience a monetary and economic collapse down the road.

Tax cuts, stimulus, trade agreement modifications... they're all bandaids. Nothing will grow again until the gangrene (debt) is removed.

playing with employment numbers is typical of 3rd world government.s. firing and rehiring of gov't census workers and each time counting it as a creation of job is typical of statistical jiggering in the 3rd world.
