Most of the rewards (Net Worth) did not come from any of the above achievements. Again, what did he add to humanity from just 1 year ago to add $160 billion to his net worth? Just saying. The system is certainly not perfect I agree and this is a perfect example of it.
I asked first. What achievements where added by him in the last year to inflate his net worth by $160 billion? what did he add to humanity in less than 1 year? By your logic the re-usable rocket should have been it? maybe? but it didn't add much to his net worth. Like Dice said there are multiple people, specially when talkin about half the population, that add way more to humanity and it doesn't show up in net worth it shows up in Humanity . Your rocket example that you used is a perfect example of what he is trying to say.
Good luck waiting for an answer. He put me on ignore literally an hour ago based on the exchange in this thread. Nothing of what I said was personal at all. Do you expect people with such thin skin to hold a dialog that is edifying and mutually beneficial?
The difference in our perceptions. You look at the period of one year & FED. I look at it as a chain of events & choices, from the past 25 years, that led him up to this point. Vision.
How much of that net worth has added to humanity and how much has it taken away or not added at all? The OP posted a tweet about 41 billionaires having more net worth than 50% of the bottom have of the world. My argument is that most of that was not an add value to Humanity and by most of it I mean a huge chunk. . I never said Elon doesn't deserve it, didn't work hard at it and shouldn't keep it. To say that the bottom half didn't add value because it doesn't show up in net worth is just PERCEPTION like you say in looking at the wrong metrics.
Of course Democrats/Socialists would just say wah wah not fair and hastily try and raise their Taxes.
Laughs. Ok, let's stop. ... Lets enjoy the Friday, like the real 50%, by doing - absolutely nothing. Changed my mind. (felt like ahole). Nice weekend @DiceAreCast & you all. Im out. P.s Taxes isn't that big of a deal. (notice Netherlands)
A lot of the wealth numbers are nonsense. If its based on massive numbers of shares held like Musk, the idea that he could realize that wealth at the last price paid is ludicrous. Basically, its like saying you car is worth the brand new price, yet you'd be lucky to get 70% of that if you sold it when it was a day old.
