Now Magna? Can we start now?

It's more then 72 hours - how much longer do we have to wait? Come on, Magna - just say the word man...

Relax Mr. tampaman, I realize you can hardly contain yourself. Besides, the longer the delay, the more fodder for the skirt.

You are so wise. No wonder you are the moderator, and I am nothing more than a tabloid scribe.

But how much longer do we have to wait, damn-it! I've got a deadline to meet!!!

God, it's like trying to harness a wild racehorse....let's offer the benefit of the doubt and assume that a simple weekend vacation is at hand. As one of the most admired and respected traders on ET you can certainly appreciate the meaning of discipline and restraint. If not, please speak to Mr. Sub.
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to see that connection....so obvious to me. (cough, hack)

  5. tampa,

im beginning to think you are an attention-whore. you are quite content to post to yourself, or to the moderator or a blank wall? .... why not wait and see if 40 yo is hawking sub sandwiches (subway beaks & snouts) next week or reporting a successful launch. i have a feeling if he sucked, you will say i told you so... and if he traded successfully, you will tell him that 1 day doesnt mean squat!

so for once, why not consider your previous string of inane drivel as sufficent.

and to the moderator: could ET adjust the email system so that we are not notified when someone on the IGNORE list posts? its doubly annoying...

    Magna Spills The Beans!

In a rare moment of candor, Magna, ET’s wisest and most respected moderator let slip his true feelings toward the journal keeper known as “tampa. Magna was quoted as saying: ” As one of the most admired and respected traders on ET you can certainly appreciate the meaning of discipline and restraint...”

But not all was wine and roses in his remarks. The Elite Trader Forum’s wisest of the wise, went on to point out that Mister Subliminal, a former journal keeper, and near-do-well, has a serious character flaw, and frequents a dominatrix from time to time.

Covered in half-eaten Subway sandwiches thrown at him by the angry mob gathered outside of 40yotrader’s now abandoned thread, Magna continued to hold the crowd at bay, while mumbling something about the missing 40 might be on a weekend holiday. Leading one veteran ET’er to say: “Wise, yes – but he must really think that the rest of us just fell off the turnip truck.”

In a related story, QQQBall, the last true believer, was lead off to a padded cell for his own protection.

Would someone (like a moderator) do the decent thing, and put this thread out of it's misery? Pah-leeez!

First and foremost, regardless of everything...............realize that what you are attempting to do is a personal journey with all the rewards and hazards of anything that is worth doing. Having said that, I can see many ways that this Journal could be detrimental to your trading; especially in the very early stages. If you can block out the inevitable noise and distraction that this thread will bring you, Great. If not, don't make yourself a beggar because of it. Psychology/Emotion are the keys to this game. Don't let anyone anywhere pick your lock.

You'll have to admit that all this build-up with no payoff whatsoever is a little bizarre.
