40, I noticed you are running 2000i off PC Quote. How do you find that combo? I used it when both first came out and it was so terrible I had to trash it.
Up OVER $16K! Holy cow, that's more than 320 ES points in 21 trading days. Or better than 16 points a day. That's quite an achievement for a newbie, quite an achievement indeed.
Back off, dude I've been reading this thread with interest up until now as you seem to be trying your best to disrupt this topic with your repetetive posts. You would do well to get away from your keyboard or post something insightful instead.
Public, the guy is paper trading he's mentioned that his system involves more than 1 contract..up to 9 or more sometimes from what he's posted do some extra math...figure he averages 5 contracts on a trade and he's talking about averaging 3 points and some change per day is 3 pts a day supposed to be unreachable? if so I'm a market wizard then, because I average over that anyone can understand some skepticism...but outright trashing every post someone puts up, especially when they are not hyping or offering to sell a darn thing, seems just a bit out of whack
Well it certainly was not my intention to disrupt the cheerleading squad. Tell you what, you just go on following ol'40, and when he makes his move, PM me with an apology. OK? You can resume the cheerleading now.
Hey Guys, Let's keep it friendly here, and as long as nothing is being sold let's try to stay supportive. Healthy skepticism of papertrading results is fine, but let's not stay relentless after our point has been made. Besides, real-money trading will start in a couple of days so the proof will be in the proverbial pudding. Thanks.
I have tested this combination - it is horrendously bad. Even when I had the programs that come with PCQ, and compared with the quotes on TS2Ki plus PCQ, the TS2K could not keep up with the programs from PCQ. I sincerely hope that you are not trading ES based on that!? Better to go to TS6 and use IB with Dynaorder [even better is probably FFastTrade and certainly a Globex machine, but I doubt that is in the cards.] The ES moves around like crazy and unless delayed entries are part of your system, you are gonna be in for a surprise... nitro
Many of the traders on this board are discretionary and don't believe that system trading works, so expect skepticism from more than half the people here. You appear to have everything nailed except the emotional part of trading. Can't be sure of that one until you are actually trading real money. I'll put my money on the Come line though. If you use stops like you say to enter/exit, you should experience next to zero slippage with only 9 contracts. If you do experience slippage, it might be due to your brokers slow execution. It would be a good idea to determine if they are native to Globex, as that removes one level of risk.
Last night I was leading my family to ruin. Today I'm out to rip everybody off with a new can't lose system. Yes folks, I have this can't lose system. You just put in $2,000 in one end and out pops a million dollars. No work, no sweat. It just magically appears. As an added bonus I promise to move the market in your favor until the system is paid for. Then of course...you're on your own... GET REAL How about another conspiracy theory.... After I posted the trade for today I suppose I also called Soros, the media, and Fidelity and talked them into moving the market 10 pts. higher from my posted exit so I can become the king of the Elite Trader Forum guru club. PURE FANTASY My system uses money management....surprise! Yes, I engineered it so that it TRYS to trade larger when the likehood of a win is LARGER than average. Today's trade used 8 Emini contracts. 8*6.75 pts = 54 pts. - (8*1/2pt. slippage per R/T) = 50 pts. - ($9 R/t commission*8) = $2,428 profit /8 contracts = $303.50 per-contract. Wow, nobody can make a paper profit of $300 in a day with 1 Emini. We all know it can't be done, so the guy must be some crook out to convert discretionary traders to systematic traders. What a conspiracy! If you're that upset at PAPER PROFITS, I can only imagine how upsetting it'd be for your weak mind to stomach someone actually making REAL money. Since I don't want to be the cause of countless mental breakdowns, I'll use a code to represent how I'm doing in REAL money trading. ----- = didn't work according to plan +++ = worked according to plan Now, noone needs be offended by a silly old remark like, I'm up over 144K on paper so far this year. I'm sure it'll make all the difference! LOL I can see it now, if I lose my 40k limit, I'm just another loser in the long line of losing traders. If I make money, I'm a vendor out to rip off unsuspecting newbies. I don't see where your world has room for winners. Oh, I forgot.....it doesn't. My apologies to others following this thread....I've just had enough of this guy.
