    Based on the 6 older folks I know:

    5 are still long the Market.

    1 cashed out.

  3. now i am getting scared. these folks won't go into cash until we drop another 20% in one week.
     
  4. These folks won't go into cash at all. They're most likely a decade or more away from retirement, and they think as they always do "It'll come back before I retire". The ones retiring soon are the ones who went for the cash.
     
  5. if someones portfolio is down 50% and you are 55 or less even maybe 60 years old or less they will not sell, the people who sold are 65-75+ who need the money to live now although they will probably have to go to work again lol
