One sure can t buy a palace for 20 million in hk, in the better residences on the chinese side of the border, small villas (300sqm, small garden) already go for 5mil and hk is much more expensive. Condos are cheaper than villas though.
well condo don't seem particulary cheap in HK, here's a 100plus million penthouse : http://raredelights.com/asias-expensive-property-hong-kong/ it's a bit frustrating to look at accommodations in HK, furthermore most areas are cramped and ceiling in apartments low
I hate low ceilings. That's amazing! Do realtor's earn a commission similar to the 6% in the United States for brokering these monster money units?
Prices for single floor residences range between $7.5 MM and $9.5MM, the Penthouse is priced at $34MM

I don't disagree. I personally would never want to live that high up. Oil sheik types are looking at it---- im sure its just another trophy to someone's portfolio. surf
why would one want their car in the living room? Or is all that drug money, Russian and Middle Eastern oil money, and Chinese corruption money clogging up their brain pipes?
Hey surf, you don't get around much do you. There's a car elevator condo in singapore called the hamilton scotts. It's not a new thing.
