4 screens how to fit new ones

  1. Is that a good gauge? I'm not an expert in CL or FB. I agree with the multiple rows. Friend of mine has a beautiful setup with 4 giant curved monitors which he does not angle down. I'm not sure how that affects the experience. I have two giant curved monitors myself.

Why? I'm curious. Everyone who has viewed it at my place has loved it. Want to see what I'm missing.

Might be completely missing the mark by saying this (to each their own) but I wonder how much eye "contact" upper monitors get.

I look at what I see in front of and around me. Up is when I am outside.

I don't know, but I see a lot of curved monitors for sale relative to the number of similarly sized flat monitors.

If his neutral line of sight is between the monitors, my condolences to his neck. And since the upper row isn't angled down, that's further stress on his neck or his eyes. But if the monitors are all at zero tilt, I'm sure they look fantastic aesthetically, even if this setup sounds horrific from an ergonomic perspective.

  4. You know what... they're just fine. And so is my neck... can see them all without turning head.... sheesh!

Wasn't referring to you. Referring to setup of 2x2 monitors, which unless the user has one pair of monitors directly in front of him, putting the other pair to the side, means his neutral line of sight is between the two pairs of screens.

  6. 2x2 wouldn't need to be angled inwards if done with 2 large monitors in portrait mode.... small enough to be in constant range of view.

  7. I think you can just roll your eyes up and down and move your neck left and right but maybe not.

If you watch porn in 3D, the left nipple almost touches the right nipple on a curved screen.

  9. closest representation to my actual reaction o_O

tbh I don't _really_ watch porn. It dulls my senses during sex and I want to enjoy every part of it.

Maybe some can. I find that if my primary monitor isn't directly in front, my neck will start hurting within a week or so. Similarly, for me at least, there's a height limit on the upper monitors, beyond which I will start feeling it in my neck within a coupe of weeks.

Been there, done that on both. But YMMV and some people may find such setups to be ergonomically fine.
