Sure it's a snap, to a certain point. Just follow the procedures. After that certain point, one can't bring to bear all the procedures they should remember (which is the problem), or you enter the realm of creativity. At any rate, the only math I like, what pleases me, is probability and statistics.

Now you're in trouble. If your reason is genetic, you lose, but if it's cultural, you lose. :D j/k

For those ETers who are so quick to label other ETers racists, here's an interesting email I received recently ...

    Subject: Racist
    >
    >
    >You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.
    >
    >You call me "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey" and even "The Man" and you
    think
    >it's OK.
    >
    >But when I call you, "nigger", "Kike", "Towel head", "Sand-nigger",
    "Camel
    >Jockey", "Beaner" or "Chink" you call me a racist.
    >
    >You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are
    the
    >ghettos the most dangerous places to live
    >
    >You have the United Negro College Fund.
    >You have Martin Luther King Day.
    >You have Black History Month.
    >You have Cesar Chavez Day.
    >You have Yom Hashoah
    >You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
    >You have the NAACP.
    >You have BET.
    >
    >If we had WET(white entertainment television) we'd be racists.
    >
    >If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists.
    >
    >If we had white history month, we'd be racists.
    >
    >If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd
    be
    >racists.
    >
    >If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships,
    you
    >know we'd be racists.
    >
    >In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your
    race
    >and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us
    >racists.
    >
    >You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're
    >not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you
    call
    >us racists.
    >
    >
    >You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us.
    >But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats
    up a
    >black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society,
    you
    >call him a racist.
    >
    >
    >I am white.
    >I am proud.
    >
    >
    >But, you call me a racist.
    >
    >Why is it that only whites can be racists?

  7. Hey Ricter, since you were trained as a sociologist, I wonder if you agree with what this Professor Feagin (who is white), sociology prof at Florida Gainesville, who says "[A] black person has to view every white person as 'a potential enemy unless he personally finds out differently.' Black Americans of all ages and statuses are ... forced into a vigilant, cautious and defensive orientation as they deal with potentially dangerous whites throughout their lives."

  8. Actually, anti-racisism activists consider that the proper term, Nik.

Apparently, using 'minorities' obscures the fact that, globally, whites themselves are the minority; using 'people of color' supposedly 'empowers' those people.

  9. Gee, I didn't get that one. The biggest question engendered by this post is - did you get this email by virtue of your good standing in Aryan Nations? Or was it through your subscription to some racist newsletter? Or maybe it was simply forwarded to you by one of your hate-gives-me-a-little-stiffy buddies.

Oh, you've never visited any white supremacist site or engaged in any white supremacist behaviour?

    Riiiiiiight.

Yet another ET maggot outs herself.

So sorry to disappoint, but the one who sent that to me and I worked together during the civil rights movement in the 50's and 60's. That email gave both of us a kick because of the way things seem to have turned around.
