    Well, lets do some maths.

We have already discussed that an estimated 1,839,266 illegal immigrants through May YTD were not apprehended by the CBP.

Also, we previously discussed that Delta was in Mexico much earlier than you thought.

Delta has an R0 of a range from 5 - 9. So, lets call it 7.

I read yesterday that 20% of the illegal immigrants that are apprehended are covid positive.

    1,839,266 x .2 = 367,853
    367,853 x 7 = 2,574,972

So, the illegal immigrants that were not apprehended have infected an estimated 2,574,972 people in the US. Due to the Delta having a R0 of 7, that number would exponentially grow really quickly.

In your opinion, that has not contributed at all to the current spread of delta? Really?

So, you are arguing that the delta variant is not contagious at all and that delta has an R0 = 0?

Yes. For a lot of America, especially with low vaccination rates, they should be wearing masks. It’s unfortunate.

As to the vaccines and efficacy. We are seeing upwards of 85% of infections, hospitalizations and deaths being among the unvaccinated.

Now we know a little more than 50% of the country is fully vaccinated and represent about 15% of all Covid.

Now pay attention here because this is where it takes some intelligence...

We would be able to reduce all of Covid by 70% if the unvaccinated got vaccinated.

Right? Think about it. If it’s 50/50 vaccinated/unvaccinated then the unvaccinated 50% who represent 85% of Covid would be able to reduce their percentage to at least the 15% of the vaccinated.

Tou want to talk about not wearing masks, kids safely going to school and general happiness vaccination is the key. Instead we have people freaking dying on library floors trying to get an experimental fetal stem cell therapy to save their ass.

First let's gt to the facts:
    • Illegal immigrants in custody are the most tested group in the Unite.d States.
    • The vast majority of illegal immigrants are not crossing the border with COVID but getting COVID while being held in overcrowded detention facilities in the U.S.
    • 80% of illegal immigrants crossing the border are deported by shipping them to Louisiana and then having planes fly them back to central Mexico. Only unaccompanied children, individuals with strong refugee cases, individuals with medical issues and individuals with U.S. connections are the only ones not shipped back nearly immediately.
    • According to the CBP over 50% of illegal border crossers are currently being apprehended.
    • The primary variant in Mexico is not Delta -- we are not seeing the Mexico variants spread in the U.S.
    • The Delta variant in Mexico is mainly being found in tourist areas. This Delta variant cases in Mexico are caused by the Americans vacationing in Mexico and infecting the country.
The absurd attempts by Republicans politicians and pundits to blame illegal immigrants for COVID increases in the U.S. does not hold water statistically, nor based on the medical evidence, cases counts, variant types, and immediate deportation rate. These attempts to blame illegal immigrants for disease is merely the most base, obscene form of racial scapegoating.

There are a number of things that can be blamed on illegal border crossers -- but these are not associated with immigrants trying to come to the U.S. for opportunity. The gangs and cartels are causing a problems with drug smuggling, cash smuggling (back to Mexico), gun smuggling (back to Mexico) and human smuggling -- these are the actual issues that must be addressed by improving our border "wall". Covid "importation" is not even an minor consideration in context of the overall actual significant problems at the border -- if Covid "importation" was an actual problem then we should shut off all incoming flights into the U.S. because this is the vector for the "importation" of most Covid cases are being imported in the U.S. I will note the Delta variant first showed up in Miami and New York in significant community spread -- all driven by incoming international airline passengers who introduced Delta to the U.S.

No, the surge in Covid cases across the U.S. is not due to migrants or immigrants
"There is a very long history in the United States, sadly ... trying to blame outsiders for diseases and there isn’t any evidence," medical ethicist Arthur Caplan said.

Your above post is pure political propaganda that is pure spin.

It is anti-science and defies logic and basic math.

I am talking about the flood of illegal immigrants that are NOT in custody. That will NEVER be in custody. A part of your spin is to only focus on the illegal immigrants in custody that have been tested.

The only way that you are correct is if the delta variant does not exist in Mexico or the R0 of delta equals 0. Which neither are true, therefore, your statements cannot be true. In other words, your argument are lies that have absolutely nothing to do with science.

Illegal immigration is contributing to the spread.

Mexico breaks Covid record amid Delta variant surge. See what life looks like
Mexico crossed three million Covid-19 cases and recorded the highest number of daily cases since the start of the pandemic. The surge in cases and the danger of the Delta variant point to a worrying trend: the country's third wave could test its healthcare system as never before and be the deadliest surge yet. As of August, just over 20 percent of those eligible were fully vaccinated. CNN's Matt Rivers reports.

“Team Tucker Carlson” LOL. Isn’t he the guy who rushed off to get vaccinated while refusing to admit to it… whose network requires employees to reveal their vaccination status.
