- So as noted vaccines are still very effective at keeping your from getting severely ill, hospitalized, and dying -- even with the COVID variant. A 42% percent effectiveness is stopping transmission of the virus -- still means that 97% of the COVID cases in a population with a 50% vaccination rate will be among the unvaccinated.
Case in point the City of Toronto with a 75% fully vaxxed rated ( eligible ages ) has only 17 people in hospitals with Covid in a city of 3 million people ( might even be some overlap with Metro Toronto ). That may of course increase when the schools open up but it's a nice controllable base to deal with this. Of course, just like last year, the deniers on here don't want to learn anything from successful programs and attempts elsewhere. It seems to me as well that there is a huge push to get the teenagers vaxxed before school starts. Given that masks will still be in use to some degree this may help deliniate how effective this approach is in keeping schools open. Myself, I'm interested as well in the impact if Covid on indoor sports which are a big part of Canadian winters.
A virus cannot survive on the fries because they are very hot, and they are coated in salt. Besides, when was the last time you ever saw someone in a fast food chain coughing on food? I always go inside the store and watch the line. (I hate the drive-thru, because they always fuck you at it.) I have been doing it for many decades, and have never once seen someone working the line sneeze or cough or wipe their nose or whatever.
Alec Zeck is the next Twitter celeb to get the virus and wind up on a ventilator. Watch for it. (Unless, of course, he got vaccinated and is a hypocrite.)
The obese person sucking colas, chowing on fast food all day, smokers, alcoholics...... where do we stop? What about uninsured, normal family health care providers/personnel doc’s won’t touch them, so they end up at the ER for sniffles and day to day medical needs. I understand the perceived need, a couple of years ago, the wife needed a ER visit, bad ankle sprain and was shoved into the hallway, no rooms - normal flu season had overrun the local hospital. It happens......... Vast majority of people are either Obamacare takers or paying a percentage of their premium under their employer’s group healthcare insurance. Then there’s the lucky self-employed - Myself and others like me subsidize the masses with out-the-ass premiums, nose-bleed high deductibles and shit policies. You really don’t want to hear my thoughts on our health-care system.
Here ya go, it’s started. 64-Year-Old Heart Patient Removed From Transplant List For Refusing COVID Vaccine The University of Washington Medical Center has taken a 64-year-old man off its transplant waitlist because he refuses to take the Covid-19 vaccination, according to KTTH. https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/...emoved-transplant-list-refusing-covid-vaccine
The pro-vaccines can say whatever they want but ADE will come in about a month time. Stock your food for those who haven't.
Want an ICU bed in Texas then you better be vaccinated. Otherwise go die somewhere else. Society and medical systems are no longer willing to put up with anti-vax clowns. Texas hospitals may soon deny unvaccinated patients access to ICU beds https://www.rawstory.com/texas-hospitals/
