I have been using AdvancedFutures.com for awhile and like their product. Figured I would let people on the board know that they just made a crazy shift and offer round turn fees for $4.90, which includes the J-Trader....

This price war amongst brokers has been great for me!

Well, I just figured some of you would like to know....

I wonder why thier account funding instructions say to wire the money to a RCG (Rosentall Collins group) account - yet on their website they say they clear through Goldenberg, Hehmeyer & Co..

I trade with Advanced Futures, Great service !!!!
I pay 4.90 RT no other fees and clear through Goldenberg.
(I don't know about the minimum trades for the J-Trader, talk to them on the phone)

I could start at another firm (also J-Trader) with $4.50 RT and no other fees but the service I experienced at Advanced is great. (I'm only trading there for a week but everything I asked was solved / done immediately)

It appears they use two clearing firms, GH and RC, depending on which one you open an account with. I clear through GH

Please understand that Advanced Futures is not necessarily $4.90 per round turn. Best to go to their website and take a look at their fee schedule:

    http://www.advancedfutures.com/comm.asp

Nice to see that they have altered their pricing structure in the past few months, so you now can pay $4.90 per round for J-Trader with a $20,000 deposit (in the past it was either $5.90 per round or $4.90 per round + $525 per month). If, however, you deposit less than $20,000 the fee is a minimum of $5.90 per round.
