4-29 A range day, with good swings.

very cool lundy, I am betting out systems are similar...i also use a stop and reversal type trading system...buy long/cover long sell short/cover short buy long....average 3 trades a daily..I have found that it usually catches the big moves one way or the other

 

system went short at 1115.5 + 4.5 from previous trade. (before commish)

 

system bought 1111 +4.5 before commish,

this is proving to be a nice range day.

 

If you don't mind, I have a few questions for you:

1) What intraday time interval are you using?

2) Is your buy entry on the stochastic a cross above an oversold condition and the opposite for a sell?

lundy great job on creating a system.

 

as the stoch bottoms out I buy, as it tops i sell.

i use a chop indicator to filter out entries and exists.

using 100 tick bars

i make sure the close is less than the moving averages to buy, and greater to sell.

however, in it's current version, the system has big drawdowns during trend days due to not stopping out..

but even with those draw downs, the equity curve has an almost ruler like 30 degree angle to it.

it also catches some trends because the filters do not let it exit and go short.

Aren't you the gambling addict who had a "sure thing" system before and should be in jail for fraud?

 

this isn't a sure thing system, this is a system that sustains lots of drawdowns but the overall equity curve is smooth.

It did great today because we had a range day.

 

I want to be successful for the best reasons, I want to pay back my debts.

I'm sorry that u have a problem with me, but I can't help you with that.

I am sharing some stuff about a system, because i thought it might be good info for people who are just trying out systems, or who don't know if systems work.
