Trump now saying "the Kurds are happy about it". There are no words really at this stage.

"Despite a cease-fire (THINK IT IS A "PAUSE") brokered by President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Kurds say they are facing “ethnic cleaning” and 250,000 people have already been forced from their homes. NBC’s Richard Engel reports for Weekend TODAY."

So many of the hundreds of thousands running from their homes are relieved thinking now they don't have to paint the kitchen.

He even started with after a little... maybe not.. a lot? of suffering? I don't know thinks Donny the kid who threw rocks into his younger neighbour's playpen for target practice. That kid liked the rocks raining down on him and so did his mom.

He must be feeling a bit of heat as will world leaders visiting the Doral, trademark Donny trying to get the press to chase this and he will make money anyway. The best place in the US was a South Florida bankrupt resort he bought in 2012 in June when it would be losing money as normally empty due to living hell humidity and mosquitoes. But at "cost"... any occupancy in June is a profit. Plus the renovations and the after-the-event megabucks needed from the government to "restore" the club and changes made.

I have a feeling even the major media outlets are just going to ignore is as much as they can and focus now on the real meat.

  5. Bugenhagen, I am sorry to have to inform you that your signal to noise ratio has dropped below acceptable levels. I know you have a quota of posts to generate and every post can't be perfect but seriously, lift your game a little or face the consequences.

  6. Give Bugenhagen a chance. He has not fully recovered from the ale he recently had.

I knew not answering your previous post would get under your skin is all. I guess Hillary being cleared on any wrongdoing on the old email server is stressful, but you have another nine investigations to go so pace yourself.

That was cider. I can get an IPA any time I want here. Did Donald Trump throw rocks at you in your playpen and all by any chance?

If not you may have a touch of FASD but it is never too late to try and train your mind to be more observant. Really makes all the difference in trading.

Erdogan says Turkey will take necessary steps against Trump’s ‘disrespectful’ letter
Letter ‘was not in line with diplomatic and political courtesy. We will not forget this lack of respect’

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that Donald Trump’s recent letter to him broke with “diplomatic and political courtesy.”

The letter “was not in line with diplomatic and political courtesy. We will not forget this lack of respect. This is not a priority for us. But when the time comes we would like it to be known that we will take the necessary steps.”

The extraordinary missive warned the Turkish leader not to be a “fool” over Turkish plans to start a military campaign in northern Syria.

“Don’t be a tough guy, don’t be a fool!”, the letter, leaked from the White House, said.

It emerged on Thursday that Mr Erdogan reacted angrily to the letter, throwing it in the bin and commencing the military offensive, which has left dozens of civilians dead and displaced hundreds of thousands.

  10. I find it ironic to day the least that we have a NATO "ally" doing the exact same thing we put punitive sanctions on Russia for, ie, invading a neighboring country using proxies when they felt their zone of influence was being compromised.

The situation should be instructive, both in how outmoded and in fact dangerous NATO is(we would be obligated to go to war to defend Turkey if they were attacked) and how utterly foolish the initial decision to insert ourselves into this controversy was. Apparently we don't have enough problems to keep our elites occupied, so they must go around looking for situations to meddle in.
