35 witness subpoenas sought for Manafort trial

  1. I know, I have spent a lot of time in the US growing up, visiting family. One of my favorite movies is "Trees Lounge" FFS.

I sent him a local organ donor card application and this video. He now wants to "beat my ass", wait till he sees me, they usually don't :)

  2. Wake me if he does. Until then, there is only evidence of Russians tampering in the lection, which isn't anything new, they've been doing that for decades, and tampering isn't collusion. The only reason it's a story this time around is because a piss poor democratic candidate blew a lay up election.

  4. Not really a good analogy. What kind of card game is it where you never have to show your hand, never get your bluff called, and never have to fold? That is exactly what this political game is. The split second it became apparent that Clinton was going to lose, campaign 2018 began. The central theme was/is, Trump is incompetent, and alleged collusion with Russians. Knowing that we live in an era where allegations will be considered fact by many, and no real evidence will ever be required, the never ending campaigning goes on, and on, and on. 2018 will come and go. Regardless of whether or not the democrats make any real headway in taking campaign 2020 will immediate begin. In a card game, at some point one has to lay down their cards for all to see, or fold. That will never happen here because bullshit reigns supreme in the political game, and there is an infinite supply of that. The story continues, and story telling is what keeps it all alive.

  5. BTW, I am a pot committed kind of guy in damn near everything I do. Grinding is boring, and life is to short to grind it out. Isn't anyone getting out alive anyway. I'd rather have a good story to tell around the campfire, than be the guy who played it safe.

With all due respect, you’re an idiot.

No, Federal Prosecutors are not obligated to show their hand outside of the DOJ, the federal courts, and in the case of a Special Counsel; Congress.

  7. And rumor had it you were the nice guy. Oh well, everyone can get testy. And you're wrong. At some point the hand must be shown for any investigation to be taken seriously. A year and a half is more than enough time. I get it, you like the continuing story because it benefits the left. Carry on.

Can you give me a legal definition of “taken seriously”? Is that some obscure tort law?

More than enough time? Can you provide the statute of limitations supporting your claim? Twenty individuals charged. Cohen receives no-knock warrant service. :)

*FOUR* Transition team members charged in federal court. Three plead guilty. One Cabinet member took the plea and is cooperating. You recall the “lock her up!” dude?

Hillary’s emails, doe. WTF is Sessions waiting for? Those fudge stripes can wait!

Just as an observation here, please correct if wrong, I think everyone indicted, or the subject of a search warrant so far, has a Russian connection. A quite direct one in some instances. Doesn't that seem a bit interesting considering that there is no question the Russians tried to interfere with the 2016 U.S. election? So maybe collusion, maybe not. But if not, a golden opportunity to collude was missed!

  10. Correct. Lots of people have been investigated for colluding with the Russians but Mueller has had to get his scalps for perjury, tax evasion, failing to register as a lobbyist etc because has found nothing related to conspiring with the Russians to commit a crime.

That is not to say that there are no such crimes out there. There are many. Especially over in Camp Clinton.

And - and this is an important point that you and your ilk like to overlook- if Mueller does find such crimes, that does not ipso facto mean that Trump was involved. Most of Muellers stuff on Mannafort, for example, occurred before he even joined the campaign, if not all.

Mueller will not get Trump on obstruction of justice but he will prepare a report trying to dirty him enough to get the dems to indict him after the midterms. And he will get a pile of side scalps to compensate for his failure to make the big kill. That's how he rolls. And over half of the convictions he gets on side players will be overturned on appeal. Thats how he rolls too.
