  2. No we are just a republic form of government not a democracy. People use the loose meanings in the same way as the official political definitions and thus the confusion.

United States exemplifies the varied nature of a constitutional republic—a country where some decisions (often local) are made by direct democratic processes, while others (often federal) are made by democratically elected representatives.

The major difference between a democracy and a republic is that a republic is a form of government whereas a democracy is an ideology that helps shape how a government is run. Put another way: a republic is the system of government that allows a country to be democratic!

Actually I can. I was challenging the posters opinion that his his opinion has nothing to do with the validity of the electoral college but rather that it came from a Democrat.

He conceded this in the next post.

  4. Pre politician Trump does not bother you but the others bother you?

Trump is close to being a fraud with so many business going bankrupt and Daddy spotting him. Also the fact that Trump was an outright Clinton supporter and espoused Democratic views and then whored himself out to the conservative GOP to get elected does not bother you.

Oh and Trump said Mexico would pay for the Wall and they are not...so doesn't that fall under the what they say they are going to do and what they do once they are in office?

Seems inconsistent...either it bothers you or it doesn't but don't make it seem Kamala and Warren and pulling new tricks out of the bag you did not already fall for in Trump.

I don't have any problem with a constitutional amendment being proposed and voted on via the correct mechanism. But I do not agree that the EC system is broken.

    No, just a Constitutional Republic.

What country do you hail from? I'm just curious. I'm sure it is far superior in its status of the world and political stability for you to be casting stones our way, right?

  9. Europe mainly has parliaments...what country are you from?

US is also Democratic. You are confusing an ideology with a form of government, probably because English is not your first or second language.

usually i wouldn't care about this at all. problem is that your idotic political system made it once again possible that some moron became president and causes chaos around the globe.
