What year did Trader's Monthly start the 30 under 30 list?

Did it exist back during the Golden Age?

 

While on summer and winter breaks during college I worked at a bike/skate shop. Once a month this 40+yr old guy would come in and spend a few hundred bucks buying himself skateboarder clothes. I didn't have a problem with it but the skater kids made fun of him behind his back.
