I suspect Global warming is happening and would have happened without man, because it is how the earth cycles according to the records. Whether man has made any contribution to it is not even close to proven. Although I would not be surprised if man had a measurable impact in accelerating the cycle. Whether mans impact is overall bad - is another serious question. Perhaps our impact will modulate the cycle. Perhaps the reverse trend will commence sooner... or later. How the hell would a scientist know. Given that uncertainty what is the correct course of action...? Would I want to clean up the environment sure. But, I think we should make individual efforts and our govt should give us positive tax incentives... not the crap that leftists alarmists advocate. 2.
