Not gonna happen. The FED will just buy them. They can shuffle paper between themselves and the treasury and keep rates low for a while. Isn't that a thing of beauty. The greatest shell game on earth.
Rates cannot stay low forever, they are keeping them here because they know anything higher would just destroy the housing recovery. How long they can keep them down is anyone's guess but I think they are going to rise sooner than later.
