I would bet that a lot of the people who are complaining about the mask laws under the argument of freedom are in favor of the anti-hajib and anti-burqua laws.

Funny you mention that (yet possibly a winning bet), the one argument I agree with in anti burqua laws (doesn´t apply to hijabs) is the security issue with face covering, u can´t ID someone on a camera and sometimes even when facing them. Same security issue could be raised to ban face masks, actually none of the 2 options in the picture above is really suitable security wise, I doubt people wearing any of those face masks would have been welcome in banks before the covid fiasco.

except the intent of those laws aren’t actually about IDing people for security purposes

The intent is entirely about preventing others from practicing their religious freedom.

I d say the security issue is obvious in any anti burkha law, no idea how one could see it reasonable to enter a bank, an airport check in or any place with a security check with their face entirely covered. It s not even possible to enter banks with an helmet on where I m from.
Besides there is an anti muslim content in those laws, especially any anti hijab law, where the security issue isn t raised significantly.

  5. In other words, you're not going to bother to refute any of the sources that I provided, simply because it doesn't fit your narrative. Oh, and here's another one.

Let me see you dance around that too. For the record, I'm intentionally using mainstream media sources since those are the only sources to whom you all will listen.

    You are funny.

Once someone has lost all credibility as you have, people stop the back and fourth. I'm not your daddy here to teach you to be a dignified man. On ignore. You blew your chance at this adult table.

  7. What credibility have I lost when I've provided proof to back up everything I've said? And here's another one. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...-covid-19-test-results-questioned/5222340002/

    Keep making yourself look stupid.

When you can explain how the 144,000 dead people are all a "mistake" you might get some credibility back. Until then, it's clear you've never run an operation that involved even a couple dozen people let alone tens of thousands around the country. If there weren't mistakes being made in the 50 million COVID tests done it would be absolutely shocking, in fact I'd call that fake. The question is if a handful of mistakes invalidate the vast body of COVID testing or or simply the natural result of the fog of war and don't change the ultimate conclusion. You've provided absolutely zero evidence of the former and the 144,000 dead are a damn strong indication of the latter.

So just stop with the apoplectic story of the one woman whose test got screwed up or the lab that may have improperly processed .12% of all U.S. COVID tests (in a way that would show negatives for people who were really positive, the opposite of your assertions by the way, speaking of "stupid"). It just shows your inexperience in large scale operations and fixation on antecdotal evidence, which yes does make you look "stupid" or at best hopelessly naive. But more importantly, it makes you one of the people advocating for a course of action that's already led to tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths, and that's really just abhorrent.

Sorry to go off topic but just out of curiosity are you permanently in Spain now? I remember some extensive discussions you had about where to live before all this happened so curious if you are there by choice or just ended up stuck there? Has the COVID response changed you opinion on the wisdom of the move?

  10. The CDC themselves said that they were counting every death as a Covid death. They said this months ago. Hell, I even showed you an actual example of them being caught doing it. Again, the only person who's lost credibility is you and these other dumb fucks because I've backed up everything I've said with mainstream sources that y'all are quick to trust when they say something that fits your worldview.
