hmmmm I just bought a $4000 Dell system and I'm not happy with it for the price, this sounds like a Christmas slow time project to me ! How hard would it be for a complete novice to build this and make it actually work and where would one buy these supplies?
Shouldn't be too difficult, use caution mounting processor, make sure your motherboard connections are correct, make sure you install a cd rom drive, and boot up with a copy of windows xp in the drive. I pulled this equipment pricing from Tigerdirect. Sid
Also really important to make sure that you use standoffs when mounting your motherboard in the case.
Was checking the prices, specs, etc for monitor cable extensions of 25 feet. For 5 to 8 screens it is pricey for good cable. My question is more concerned about quality. Is there an industry standard spec for such a cable of that length? Thanks
