Now the first 2 would be a huge challenge for me.lol...what a trash bag...maybe this thread will push my belly forward!lol....
Impressive numbers, Mav. I'm assuming you maintain a rigid plank position throughout and don't let your hips sag, but can I ask how close your chest and chin come to the floor at the bottom of the movement?
No sagging. My chin gets to about one inch off the floor. I do a lot of pushups with pushup bars normally so my form is good. I usually don't do them with my hands so that is the only thing different for me doing these. My form is solid though.
How many 30 sec pushups can you do? 30 secs from CHEST not chin because you guys will cheat stick your chin out & down floor to full elbow ext, no rest at top immediately back down for another. no pushup bars they make it easier. yes they allow fuller range however your BW is more upright when using them which makes pushups a lot easier not harder. a slow continuous even 30 secs up..how many? i can do 9
I didn't use pushup bars. And my chest and chin are perfectly flat. My form is perfect. So you are asking how many pushups in just one 30 second segment? That's way too easy. The hard part is when you cross 50 pushups. In 30 seconds I don't even break a sweat. But at the 3 minute mark I start getting deeply spiritual. LOL.
Oh...so literally doing a pushup in slow motion taking 30 seconds for each one? Hmm, yeah that does sound a little painful.
That is a super difficult thing to accurately gauge or compare. One guy could basically just sit at the bottom using almost zero effort for a big chunk of the 30 seconds or take a lot longer at the top when again there is less effort. Not doubting the difficulty there at all though. Just holding a pushup position at the top for 5 minutes straight gets pretty uncomfortable
