I noticed some analysts on bloomberg say march 9 lows on S&P, but on my charts it is march 6, at 666. Another question I have is, do you think someone, or a group of people conspired to make 666 the low at 3/6. Seems too much of a coincidence that on 3-6, there are 3 sixes, and of course that is a symbolic number by itself. 1. So was this just a coincidence, or a conspiracy? Seems too much of a coincidence to me. 2. If it is a conspiracy, what does it tell us about this rally and the personality of the people who triggered it? Seems to me people who would do this are manipulative, immature, and not long term investors. They are attention seekers, and could have alienated the religious or traditional segment of society from participating in a recovery. So to me this 666 business makes it more likely that the lows will be retested, and possibly broken, perhaps by religious people. Some might think that is nonse. Nobody cares about 666. But there are lots of traditional people out there who care about these things, especially if they perceive it as having been manipulated to be on 666.
CBoE SPX (cash) low was 666.79 ES futures (03/2009, unadjusted), was 665.75. The next day or so, GE closed @ 6.66
