I hope despite your run ins with the law you had a good time at Rick's. Yes, there are a lot of police out there on the water. And there are way too many rules to make boating fun anymore. Matter of fact we are blowing out of here for other parts of Florida. The powers that be decided they are going to harass all boaters including live aboards. Middle of the night raids to check out the safety and sanitation equipment is just pure harassment as far as I am concerned. PS..I have never gotten beyond knee deep in the water with thick water shoes on. I see all the stings and bites and cuts everyone gets and decided it is not worth it. Besides all the sharks that swim in the canal kind of put me off....:eek: :eek:
