hello, i have sbc dsl (now att) at home and would like hook up a second computer to it. i got a second linksys adapter, but can't seem to get connected... it gives me the msg: internet cannot be found... what does that mean? i have wireless dsl, and it has been really good connection... thanks in advance for your help, pom

Most of the modern modems allow two computers without the purchase of an additional router- they have the router/switch built into the modem. Some of the broadband companies have a modem with an antennae adding a third computer... USB Ethernet Wireless (some modems) Michael B. P.S. with qwest (I purchased an Actiontec router from them) I run all three without a router or a switch. It is actually faster... P.S.S. I also have a Cable connection for redundancy...I bought my Motorola modem (with rebate I made money) which does not have wireless...but I do not need wireless and would not suggest it for trading. And Yes! I am a consistently profitable "Retail Spot Forex Trader".
