What would he be "criminally charged" with? He used too many bullets? He shot the guy "execution" style? Is that a thing? People that are shot don't die instantly in all cases. What if the guy had rolled over and fired a fatal shot at the good guy? Edit: the shooter obviously had no idea the gun wasn't real.
Robbing the place and having three armed citizens pull their legally owned pistols to take down the criminals may be a record. Or at least it should become more common.
