This doesn't sound like the same guy. He said he worked in college but didn't mention anything about working after that. But coming from a wannabe forum guru who talks big but never given a morsel of proof of his success, I'll take this with a nanogram of NaCl.

Never ever stated I was a forum guru but we had this one-sided talk before...

That's part of your imagination that I've stated I was a forum guru when in reality...people do not like my politics.
    • By the way, where's your "morsel of proof of success" considering you're accusing others ???
Not surprising... the same way you pretended this OP may be selling you something via trying to make a parallel of his trading to vendors. :D

What's next if he has another week of success ?

You'll be calling him a forum guru in no time even though he hates gurus. :sneaky:

P.S. The guy that got a job in a bank had prior talked about his trading as someone in college. Also, I believe he was engaged too when he was hired at a bank.

Nah, not one-sided. You pretend to be some sort of price-action hero (if I remember right...I get you Walter Mitty types mixed up) but have never shown a shred of evidence.

The fact you have time to write multiple, vacuous 8-paragraph responses within minutes shows you're not successful at trading or much of anything else. I know very wealthy people (and don't claim to be one myself). That's not what they do with their time.

    Lets see again...

I wrote a 8 paragraph response and pretended to be a price action hero that has never shown a shred of evidence.

While you're accusing everybody of never showing any evidence and accusing them / implying they're going to sell you something...
    • Dude...if you have a problem with the OP....fucking report his messages to Baron and ask for this thread to be deleted.
Just the same, if you do not like my 8 paragraph responses that implies I'm a price action guru...report me and stop acting like a big limp dick trashing the OP trade journal...not the first time you've done that bullshit when someone starts a trade journal and has a win streak. You jealous or something about the OP ???
    • Where's your morsel of proof ?
Remember, I never ask you for proof until you started asking for proof. :D

P.S. 7 paragraphs (a typical writing style) above and it took about 2 minutes with one edit a few minutes ago.

@Cuddles well i didnt think i would have losing years for 10 years

@Overnight not an ego problem. i just love trading. i love the game. it was a rollercoaster getting to over 25k with futures. i think i can get similar win percentages with stocks but money movements will be a lot smaller so i will be able to have more control on my trading. iono just a thought for now.

@JSOP im trading the same way as when i started in 2010. always has. problem has always been keeping the discipline and sticking to my plans. i tend to start gambling once im winning because it fulfills my gambling urges and obviously it has not worked well for me.

@777 no special edge. just wanted to avoid pdt rules. i compare NG chart to boil/kold etfs to time my entries/exits so i guess i never deviated from stocks really.

@wrbtrader yes that’s me. but you got my life timeline story a little off...unless there’s another idiot like me in this world. Officer route didn’t work out (not competitive enough) and i actually have settled down elsewhere. My private life will be a secret though going forward (so dont say anything mr raymond). Just know I am in a stable environment and can concentrate on my trading without any pressure to make quick money.

@MKTrader @virtusa @wrbtrader and anyone else. If you have something to say to each other, please use direct messages and not have a conversation on this thread. I posted one day of result so far and we’re already in page 4. I want people to come see my progress in peace and not have to navigate so much. And im not selling anything. Just come check how Im doing from time to time and leave a like or something.

To those who remembered me…. at first I was hoping no one remembers me but dang im actually a little moved. haha.. thank you for the encouragement. A like on my result posts would be appreciated so I can see how many people are looking at me. A comment is not necessary (makes the thread too long).

MARKETS OPEN IN A COUPLE HOURS!!! YAY!!!

2010, wow. Imagine if you had just invested $100 every week in SOXL:

Started a little late in the day because i had night shift and i gave into sleep. NG had a good downrun going so i made my money shorting that.

Something that hit me really hard just moments ago was I am making a significant amount of money.. but for what? I didn't do anything special and yet it's telling me I'm up over a thousand dollars. I'm doing the same thing I did before and when I traded 1 contract, my daily goal was make $200 or 20 points a day. It felt doable with a little effort. When I was up $200 or even more, it was a feeling of whatever. Same old same old. If I was down $200 or more, it was also a feeling of whatever.
Now I'm doing the same thing, just scaled up. When it starts going over $1000 so easily, I'm thinking "What the hell... is this legal?". In this world, I believe there is always a cost for the money you gain. So why am I making so much money when I'm doing work that I don't think should reward me with so much? After getting this uneasy thought, my heart started pounding really fast and I decided to exit most of my positions and just let 2 contracts run. Based on what I'm seeing on KOLD/BOIL charts, I could have let my positions run even more. I should have run it more - it was showing a pattern that I'm comfortable with. Yet, I didn't have the stomach to run with it because the money was getting too big. Amateur hour, I guess. After 25 more point gains with 2 contracts, I covered all.
Hopefully I can keep this up long enough to get used to this kind of money movements. Hopefully, in the near future, going up (please not down) $2,000 will also be just a 'whatever' moment.

Just checked to see that BOIL and KOLD are 2x ETF and inverse ETF funds that track natural gas.

I swing-trade several futures markets and have traded natural gas futures in the past. Do the ETFs offer particular advantages over trading natural gas futures?

Yer doing great, scaling up. Keep at it. And if you have a huge losing day you'll realize how legal it all is.
