This is better than nothing, but seriously, if you want the fast route benefits : enrol into a 10day full free boarding ( food, bedding cleaning) provided. Put in your 11+ hours of daily meditation to know the technique. After that, you will know why you need at least 2hours/day of daily meditation on year 1. Why go the slow route when the fast route exist?
I'll admit that - for a 5 minute read - that guide was pretty insightful. I'll give the 28 days a shot! Thanks.
when I started out, I was really strung out on the rock and roll life style wake up at 5pm, start snorting coke get to the gig by 10pm play all night go home at 5 am, start smoking and taking pills The first starts were try and fail I'd feel so guilty when I failed but eventually I became highly disciplined you wouldn't think doing something so simple as doing nothing on a regular basis could change your life so dramatically when you first start out, set the timer, even sitting still for five minutes is almost unbearable I'm not a big believer in "technique" just doing it will change your life for the better but here it is, years later, and the cares of the world have taken over I should eat better, sleep better, meditate better, exercise better It's just on my list of things I should do Many are called, few are chosen
I do 10 minutes, twice a day. But just start - even if it's for a few. You build the habit. Try their 28-day deal and see how it goes.
It is! Check out their Facebook page for some good stuff as well...especially if you search back to last year.
This website helped me a lot when I started.. http://www.fragrantheart.com/cms/free-audio-meditations BOL
