+20 pips on that USD/JPY trade, closing half of my position and moving the stop to break-even (97.10), thank you Tokyo Most breakouts during the Asian session are fake, so let's see if this one is real and has staying power...
The yen jumped 30 pips (in my favor) for no reason after the FOMC minutes release and then quickly run out of steam. It still has some upside potential however. Coming up next is the all important "Australian Employment Change" report, today at 8:30 PM (New York time), so get ready for some serious action on the AUD/USD, GBP/AUD, EUR/AUD, AUD/JPY and any other AUD cross. Watch out, this sucker usually moves in one direction only after the report is released, with almost zero pullback, so you really really don't want to be caught in the wrong side of the market! Good luck everyone.
UJ was an easy one, I was in within a half hour after the tokyo open. Took profits on a EURUSD short on FOMC today as well. AUD is next.
Just bought the AUD/CAD (at 0.9825), that's the only currency pair showing on my "radar" right now, the other pairs are just sending conflicting and weak signals. Funny how you always post your pictures ("easy" winning trades as you call them) after the fact, Contra. But it could be only a coincidence, of course
The Yen is still on fire, come on boy, get up there, don't be shy, daddy needs a new pair of shoes ! And a new villa in the South of France
Did you read my "predictions" you quoted last night? I wouldn't be long AUD/CAD here. For a big bad trend rider your 20 pip stops, half off to break even on 15m charts and the need to make up fantasy size gains you made in 30 minutes is laughable. Which have then all gone the other way. Why did you change your nick?
What predictions? You were correct on that one, I just lost 25 pips on that trade. Oh well, you cannot beat them all. My dear fellow trader, obviously you still have a lot to learn. Yes I am a trend rider, but on the smaller time frames (15 or 10 min usually), I aim for 20 or 50 pips profit, do you have a problem with that? What is laughable is your inability to show us any proof of your system predictive power. You know, exact entry point, exit point, stop loss and so forth... Ask that silly and stupid question again and people will think that you are mentally deranged. Trust me on this one.
