  1. Hey listen you troll. You're not interested in the thread but your preoccupied enough to take the time to write this garbage and pollute it. I will state as I did early in the thread that the reason he didn't create a handle was because of my warning that to start a thread such as this on ET with a post count of only '1' from my experience, would only elicit responses from trolls such as you Mecro that he must be out of his mind and a liar. Thus the thread would go off on a tangent right at the start and not allow it to blossom in to a thread of helpful advice. Thus it would then stand to reason logically that because I am posting his scenario and thoughts for him for the aforementioned reasons why would he then all of a sudden come in to the thread half way through it and create an alias for himself to then attract the kind of troll behavior that you are exhibiting right now? Of course I am going to post his responses so there is back and forth dialogue of some kind to direct the thread.

You seem like the type of person that favors a person on a trial for his life to defend himself and forgo a lawyer. This is the same idea buddy although a bit stretched. Am i getting through to you Mecro? Now just go away politely.

    Mecro

    Calls me a troll, funny.

Listen you jerk off. Anyone who has made 250K from 15k in 8 years would not be interested from responses on a public forum where the large majority of posters do not even trade. He certainly would not be asking his idiot friend, who also does not trade, to post this BS thread.

As if someone with 8 years of trading experience is too dumb to look into prop and retail options and make his own decision. Newbies come here with authentic questions about their career options not pros.

    What a f*cking joke.

  4. Let me breakdown your logic Mecro. So first off I am jerk off. Second off I am a jerk off because I am posting for my friend who by association then becomes a jerk off. Furthermore, people on ET are not the people to ask for any kind of advice because they don't trade in real life. Also you go on to say if my friend had actually made money he wouldn't be intererested in a public forum like ET. So that means that since you are actively participating on a public message board yourself (ET) and thus interested in a number of topics (inferred by your post count of 555) since you registered on March 2003 to this public forum I can then infer 2 things about you using your very own logic.

    1. You do not trade and are a poser
    2. Since you are part of ET as I am that would mean you are
a "jerk off" as well using your own terminology.

  5. If you escalate things, your thread will deteriorate. If your thread deteriorates, it will generate complaints from other members. (It already has, FYI). If complaints from other members are generated, the thread needs to get edited, closed or moved. If this thread gets closed or moved, your buddy Anthony will not get all of the information he expects.

Simple cause and effect. Please consider it.

    Thanks.

    Mecro

Well now I am fully convinced this friend story is a figment of your imagination.

You obviously do not understand why experienced and successful traders would never come to this site and ask for such advice.

  7. I understand completely, then as the moderator why don't you just delete what you have just called posts that are off topic and troll like such as Mecro's last couple of posts. Furthermore if you delete those please delete my follow up replies to him. I feel obligated to have to defend against such a person like MECRO if as the moderator you would not be willing to delete his offhanded and taunting posts. By not deleting these posts your sending a message to trolls on ET that if they are persistent and taunting enough they can cause a thread to be shut down. The thread creator should not feel that he has no recourse to action if the moderator is going to let him swing alone in the wind. With that said, Thank you richtrader. Please delete mecro's and my last few posts.

  8. Thanks for the reply. I actually don't like to delete posts, because I don't like having to judge where to start and stop. And censorship is a slippery slope. I prefer that posters try to avoid confrontation by not escalating flame wars. You and mecro both made your points. He won't continue it if you don't.

    Good luck.

    LOL

    I find this real funny
Your friend wants to get into full-time daytrading and wants to know if 250K is enough(duh) and from a past post from you, you wanted to know if you can make more money working full-time and swing-trading on the side

Why don't both of you just switch positions and voila both of you will be happy LOL

  10. Excellent research and that thread I created was because of the FACT that I was watching my friend Anthony kick so much butt swing trading back then, while holding down a corporate job that I wanted to know the opinions of others on ET concerning this. You didn't uncover anything mysterious or shocking with that post you just brought up from June. Its comes from my association with my friend Anthony and should lend even more credence to the fact that Anthony is a real person with 250k in his account. Thanks for bringing up that post though it works very well in this thread.
