Don’t stop there - you must just be getting warmed up because somehow you’ve left out political correctness and grievance politics when it comes to demonizing groups of people and playing them against each other for political expediency. I see it on both sides of the political spectrum and it nauseates me. There used to be a time when being a Liberal stood for free speech and inclusion and a rejection of corporatism - that hasn’t been the case for a couple decades now. The Right doesn’t sit particularly well with me for the notable reason that I detest mixing politics with religion. I agree with most Libertarian philosophies with the notable exception of open borders. Why bother being a citizen and paying taxes if that’s the case.
This is exactly how Obama and Clinton lost the vote. A lot of eloquent words but not one single solution or suggestion to solve a specific, real, problem. Even if the answer is not perfect, even if it's not the best answer in hindsight, still at least a solution or suggestion is needed. Equally the American people will vote for someone next year who offers real answers to real problems. I am not American so I don't have a beef in this. But I fear the outcome is not gonna be pretty.
I am no xenophobe and neither are most Americans who voted Trump. I strongly believe that most Americans just don't want illegals coming into the country anymore. Other than statisticians nobody in their right mind wants gdp derived from illegals and undocumented workers. So to boast our rape statistics are we also saying that only rapists who rape a lot are good rapists because they push the number up? I can only ask time and again: what has happened to this country that time and again wrongdoing is tolerated because some good comes along with it? "But judge, yes I knew my maid is an illegal but but but she did the dishes so beautifully and took good care of our youngest, and she gave grandpa his weekly blow job, can't you let Teresa stay in the US pls?" How is this not easily the stupidest argument?
How the left lost the constitutionally designed and agreed vote. It's pathetic to complain for 3 years now how the popular vote was won when everyone clearly agreed to the rules of the game beforehand, nobody had an issue with the rules. Change the rules next time before the election if you don't like the rules
