Lots of people love rebates. Whatever floats your boat. If you enjoy it, great. Just not for me thanks. I see them similar to coupons. I don't clip coupons.
If I had the choice of either paying $100 with a $50 rebate, or paying $50 with no rebate, I'd take the rebate deal.... on anything computer related.
Question on the rebates thru NewEgg: What receipt/invoice do you use for rebate submission? Is the email confirm sufficient or does one need a printed receipt from them? Recently purchased some stuff this week and when item were shipped, there were no invoices included. Only receipts I have for the purchases are the emails. Thx.
You can login to your personal account and find your transactions... from which you can print an appropriate receipt.
Office Depot has a great "Black Friday" deal on that Acer 22" LCD. That 22" Acer X223 widescreen LCD is now at Office Depot for an unbelieveable $129.99 $179.00 in store - $50.00 rebate! 5 in stock per store. Limited to 2 per customer. 2-days only. Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 6AM Friday.
Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that they will not let you return an LCD if it has < 8 dead pixels. - - - That's the only thing that bums me out about New Egg.
That could be true but I have never had one screen with even 1 dead pixel from them, however that is not their fault and you would probably have to take that up with the manufacture.
