We get it, you're a Hillary supporter. We don't understand your perspective any more than you want to understand ours. Next.
Just because you believe there is no "equivalence" does not mean we believe there is none. That's the thing about opinions. Everyone can have one. If anything, ours matters more than yours since we can vote here. How many times have we heard justification for Obama's actions by saying "Bush was worse!"
Must we rehash the 47% comment or the horrors of Bain Capital? We all know that the left thinks that Romney was an evil capitalist hell bent on the destruction of everything, and Hillary is just a simple girl from Park Ridge, IL. fighting for truth, justice, and the American way. Pure as the driven snow, has known the horrors of combat, (Bosnia), and poverty,(dead broke after leaving the White House), and of course,(drum roll), the most traveled SOS in history. Why even have an election? She be the queen.
As I said before I would vote for Oprah or Dr. Phil if they were to say they would seal our borders. After 40 years of a million immigrants a year. 50% of whom are one welfare and 80% of whom vote democrat. I really think we need to give our country a generation or 2 to digest. 80 million americans are either immigrants or anchor babies. I like Mexicans, I love living in San Diego. Neither I nor anyone else I know says we have too many mexicans. But, what we have is too many democrats. I think the litmus test of crony sellout vs patriot who cares about americans and jobs and wages for americans is immigration. I think the vast majority of Trump supporters feel the same way. Trump is not my first choice, and I am not sure he will live up to his promises but he is one of 2 people in the race with a sane border policy who mirrors what the homeland security IG suggested last week.
I think I have a pretty good idea of Trump's record. Admittedly it's mixed, both on the personal level and on some of his past political ideas. The reason it doesn't bother me is we are talking about politics, not religion. We have to choose between two deeply flawed candidates. Of the two, I see Hillary as having far more troubling ethical baggage. Her entire career is one scandal after another, always a half step ahead of prosecutors or congressional committees. Trump may be many things that people find objectionable, but no one doubts he is his own man and answers to no one. There are two overriding issues that lead me to support Trump. One is immigration. The other is getting us involved in pointless wars and interventions, which often have highly undesirable consequences. Bush was terrible on both, and Obama has been worse. Hillary will mark a doubling down on disastrous policies.
