i'm almost sure there is a girlfriend's "desire" lurking and wanting him to make that $ 500,000 jackpot.

my son, if you start reading about trading earnestly now, you'll find out in less than a year that its definitely not possible for a rookie.

A good Forex broker will tell you that all it takes is 1 good month of trading with the sufficient amount of leverage that he will be more then happy to provide. You'll always find him courteous and eager to accept your trades on any currency at any time of the day or night. Of course he will fill you at your price and show you 1 point spreads on any pair. You will also be happy to know that he will take the other side of anything you can dream up. Ask him how long it takes to make 20,000

  5. Side question:

Why do people consistantly equate a traders performance to that of a fund ? Apples and oranges in my opinion.

  6. I wasn't equating him to the performance of a fund, just stating the % return on base capital his scenario is calling for. % return on base is one analysis of a trader, not the most encompassing analysis, but still valid.

  9. Larry williams started with half that amount and ended with
double (ie 10K to over a million).

So what you are suggesting is atleast four time easier to do than what he managed to do back in 1987, but then larry was a 20 year experienced trader.

about 4 min if you know the winning lotto numbers....otherwise, if you need to trade, I would say 1 year, 4 days, 3 hours, 12 min, and 3 sec. Good luck!!
