Less than a year ago in a much higher turnout race than small mayor races.

Texas will always be a red state but its GOP hold has shrunken over the years because more ethnic minorities from the other states have slowly been migrating to Texas the past 20 years or so.

You know what will happen when the urban cities of Texas get bigger with more Democratic voters...they will then control the elections in Texas.

Next, I guarantee when the Texas flips from red to blue for the first time...the GOP will become a sore loser and call for multiple audits to try to find fraud when its just the GOP failure to support policies to benefit their growing ethnic communities.

As an example is San Antonio:

Re-elected Mayor Nirenberg is the first San Antonio Mayor of Asian Pacific Islander descent. His mother is Filipino and his paternal grandparents were immigrants from Eastern Europe who passed through Ellis Island.

He defeated a fellow nonpartisan the popular Conservative Brockhouse whom had the backing of the GOP.

This is also why the GOP of Texas has so much fear about the growing urban communities...a reason why they're trying to pass disenfranchisement laws to inhibit the voters from the urban communities instead of passing / supporting new policies to support the urban communities.

They are rallying the wrong way that will result in continuation of the deterioration in the GOP of Texas.

Last of all, this thread was started by a sore loser @Buy1Sell2 that can not come to terms that Donald Trump lost the U.S. Election and then would go on to meddle in Georgia...helping to lose Georgia too plus giving Nancy Pelosi the leadership of the House.

Holding on to the BIG LIE...the GOP will lose a lot more.

More Latinos Bid ‘Adios’ to Democrats
Election results in Texas show the migration to the GOP may finally be starting.

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/more-latinos-bid-adios-to-democrats-11623104251?mod=opinion_lead_pos8
For decades some conservatives, yours truly among them, have argued that Latino Americans, with their ethic of faith and family and work, ought to be natural Republicans. On Saturday in a South Texas city on the Mexican border, Javier Villalobos gave America a glimpse of what this future might look like when he became the first Republican elected mayor of McAllen—the 85% Latino seat of Hidalgo County.

“Villalobos’ election should surprise absolutely no one who followed how counties in the Rio Grande Valley swung heavily toward Trump in the last election,” says Mike Gonzalez, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation and author of “The Plot to Change America: How Identity Politics Is Dividing the Land of the Free.”

As Mr. Gonzalez notes, the auguries were there for anyone who cared to look. In 2016 Hillary Clinton carried Hidalgo County by 41 points. But in 2020, Joe Biden won by only 17 points. Meanwhile Zapata County—what the Washington Post calls “the bluest of blue counties along the river”—flipped for Donald Trump in 2020, the first victory for a GOP presidential candidate there since Warren G. Harding a century ago.

Key Dem Doubles Down On Filibuster Support As Election Rigging Bill Heads To Senate Vote
    https://trendingpolitics.com/key-de...s-election-rigging-bill-heads-to-senate-vote/

With Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer expected to hold a vote on the Orwellian-named “For The People Act” as early as Tuesday, Kyrsten Sinema confirmed her opposition to eliminating the procedure. Luckily for America this throws the future of the bill into limbo.
In an op-ed published by the Washington Post, the Arizona Democrat wrote that “I will not support an action that damages our democracy“. This is a serious blow to those behind a relentless pressure campaign that has sought to bully her into submission.

Former Dem. Rep Warns: Election Integrity ‘Could Really Cost Democrats Seats in House & Senate’

“These rules, these restrictive rules that have been put in place in the state are such that it could really cost Democrats seats in the House and the Senate,” she admitted, adding, I mean, “That is how serious it is.”

BREAKING: Republicans Take Major Action Against “Authoritarian” Pelosi, Push to “Vacate” Her Chair
    https://trendingpolitics.com/breaki...tarian-pelosi-push-to-vacate-her-chair-crugg/
On Friday, the House Freedom Caucus sent a bombshell letter to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), urging him to remove Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi from her position as Speaker after her “authoritarian” behavior in recent weeks.

The letter came in response to drama that took place this week relating to the formation of the January 6 riot Select Committee.

In their letter, the caucus told McCarthy they “respectfully request that you pursue the authorization of the House Republican Conference, pursuant to Conference rules, to file and bring up a privileged motion by July 31, 2021, to vacate the chair and end Nancy Pelosi’s authoritarian reign as Speaker of the House.”

    Guys, none of this matters.

Trump is your new president in 2024. All of this bilious detritus for the next 2 1/2 years is noise and fluff. Come the beginning of 2024, yer gonna' see some crazy shit. Like, 88 miles-per-hour time-travel back to the past shit. And we still won't have flying cars.

    Mark it an 8, dude.

“WE’RE F***ED”: Democrats Start to Panic Over Sweeping Election Integrity Laws
    https://trendingpolitics.com/were-f...-over-sweeping-election-integrity-laws-crugg/
Democrats are beginning to panic about their 2022 midterm elections now that stronger election integrity laws are being put into place.

With stronger election integrity laws, Democrats won’t be able to cheat in the upcoming elections like they were able to in 2020 and they know it.

“If there isn’t a way for us to repeat what happened in November 2020, we’re f—ed,” said CEO of the Stacey Abrams-founded New Georgia Project, Nsé Ufot, acknowledging that winning from lax voter laws and faulty mail-in ballots won’t be possible in the upcoming elections.
